Its an understated place of interest in India i feel.. an air of serenity surrounds this place and the presence of the dalai lama when we were there certainly added to the mystic of Leh...

We, or at least, I, battled with the high altitude especially on our ride to Nubra valley. Crossed the highest motorable roads and started puking... Motion Sickness or high altitude, or both, hit me hard... it didn't last long though, and I have a nagging feeling that motion sickness was the bigger culprit..
