I think this makes an interesting set. I wonder how it would have looked if you had used a faster shutter and were able to stop the fall of the confetti in mid-air. hmmm just thinking. I like what you did here.

oh fun!!! i love how playful this is - i have an urge to throw things into the air now... sigh, i have nothing fun to throw. the last one is great! i love that you can see the individual pieces still among the fabulous blur of color :-) can i come over and paste these to a shell and seahorse collage?? sounds like fun!! :-)

first and fourth shots are amazing! i love the first one because it gets you all hyped for a color explosion and it's so crisp, then by the time you get to 4 you can really see all the tiny confettis individually trailing down. i love it! secondly, i love how it's part of your job to take bags of confetti home and pry each piece apart. thirdly, the second comment up there is hilarious...that he finds these photos "damn sexy". and of course fourthly, unlike 'lexlevans' who asked to come over, i'm just telling you that i'll be in class next week. that's right, a new student. i have so much to learn! ~_^

ATTN ALL: it is NOT recommended to throw your wifes confetti in the lounge room no matter how funny you think it is. Secondly do not blow and suck into a bag filled with confetti as you mouth will ingest such objects. sticking to the inside of your mouth while you choke like a fool. :|

Beautiful, creative idea...I don't remember getting to use confetti on collages when I was a kid. P.S.- I'm still picking up confetti I gave the two 3 yr old grandkids on New Year's eve and looks like I will probably continue until next New Year's eve.

I remember way back to the start of march (oh so long ago) when I was first looking at this website and spent two whole (quiet) night shifts looking through your blog, I absolutely loved these shots! The last one has now been added into my faves. They are so simple yet so effective and pretty.
