You and Jess are killing me with these scones! I can see myself baking some in the very near future. For the cream, is that clotted cream? I've never had it, and may need to find some around here. (Easier said than done!) I love these shots. They convey brisk, cool weather and the warmth the tea brings. The composition, lighting and depth of field are all so perfect.

Lovely set, hun: yay for scones. Perhaps that it what we should have done this afternoon!! ;) Now I know who to involve in my scone seeking trips :) I love the light in the first, it's so inviting... that chair looks so comfy! I'm detecting a Lindy touch to the third shot - so soft and feminine, it's my favourite of the four - really very very well done - the edges are just perfect - how did you achieve that, if you don't mind me asking?

Beautiful tones and perspectives....Yum, this makes me hungry. I *love* a good Devonshire Tea as well. Thanks to my mother-in-law, I've already got a little of the vintage plate collection happening too (so I can feel old right along with ya, LOL).

god, listen to us all drooling about scones, mmm nothing better. these are lovely, I love the colour and lighting in the first one, and agree with Jess re the soft edges in #3. I want to know how to do that! The self portrait's a classic, love it!

lol i had to add #2 to my favorites. you look like such a little kid. you've done a lovely job of editing these. i like that you like the more natural and muted looking colors. i know that it's the exagerratted sharpness and saturation that appeals to the canonikon set but it's good to know that there are still some of who favor a more realistic approach.

OMG!! Devonshires!!! Those look so so good. I haven't had one, since.........I stopped eating dairy. I love the cozy little corner at that cafe. I would bring a good book, curl up with my soy latte, and be in heaven.

i'm the worst photoblog friend ever! i'm just getting around to commenting and it's been like a week!! gah. anyway, this set totally makes me think of victorian england...which i suppose would make sense considering...you live in victoria...ahem. there's just not a lot of tea and scones going on around where i'm from. in fact i've never heard of scones and cream together until you and jess enlightened me. now i feel as though we've been getting jipped over here all these years! love the self portrait, love those plates and love the last scone shot. nice work princess ^_^
