Very nice, classic mother's day flower shot, but cool anyway! I like the speck of purple in the background on #1, very soft. #2 is cool too with the bud and flower. I like the tone on both of them. I wasn't sure if you celebrated over there or not :-)

omg gnocchi sounds delicious right now!! i hope that you all had a wonderful dinner together! i'm totally missing my mother right now and i wish i could be home to spoil her rotten indeed! it may be the easy way out, but that second shot is truly fantastic. i anticipate taking flower shots today too so i'm not one to talk ^_^ what mother doesn't like flowers!? beautiful tribute pb. l&h ^_^ bb
