Just to give you all a heads up, Photoblog's image storage is moving to the cloud. We're transitioning from using our own servers to store images to using Amazon's S3 storage service.

What this means is that your photographs will be in much safer hands, and that photographs should load much faster than when they were all on our own servers. New uploads are already being stored with Amazon, and we will be moving old uploads over in the coming days.

Thanks for using Photoblog, and if you haven't done so already, please consider upgrading to pro to support our community!

no.. it just means we are leveraging amazon's vast network and resources to provide our members a better service

It's always good to know that you are always trying to improve the service

That sounds like a good move

Thanks for the feedback! As Mike said, we're simply going to be storing images with hosting by Amazon rather than our current host (ThePlanet). There's no change in control or ownership, just a positive change in performance and reliability =)

Great move...I am a new member and love the site! Thanks for the continuous improvement.

One suggestion...the help section could use beefing up.
