Hello!

I've just discovered the most wonderful site - http://www.picnik.com which allows you to edit your photos online.

Picnik has all the basic features that tools such as Picaso offer, and much much more besides. It's perfect for novice and advanced users alike, and for those who don't want to shell out for a copy of photoshop.

I use it mainly to add borders to my photos, but it also includes special effects, crop, straighten and rotating tools as well as the usual exposure/lighting tools.

Best of all, it's all free - thought it was worth a mention!

Thanks for the tip Shelley.

Had a quick whirl on it yesterday and as you say, its intuitive, user-friendly and has probably got more functions than Picassa. My only gripe is that we'll have to pay for some of the fancier "premium" edits when it graduates from beta status - hopefully that won't be anytime soon !

Also, did you read that they are testing a version which allows Picnik to seamlessly integrate with photo-sharing sites like photoblog ? Not sure if Michael and the admins know about this already but it'd be great to have that on board as well !

Hi there,

Yes I did read about that - in fact I wrote to Picnik about it, and they sent me a link to their API for photoblog to use I've posted it in one of the other forums.

Cheers!
