I am going to Niagara Falls and want to photograph from The Maid of the Mist and journey behind the falls. I use a Nikon F5 and Nikon 6006. First time I've been there and don't know if it's safe to take expensive equipment on the boat. Don't know if you get soaked and how to protect your camera. Any ideas?

i have seen on ebay a camera hood, it covers the hole body of your camera but not the lens, so you will need a filter to pretect your lens.

...so did you get soaked....I did, there is not way to avoid the fine mist
