Maybe you should add the function of being able to mark posts on the forum as unsuitable just as ordinary posts can. Sooner or later (if the spammers don't drag the site down) PB is going to be swarming with trolls and you (the administrators) can be held responsible for the racist and other offensive posts that follow on that.

I echo Wasichseh's request to delete talkabout6003 and would also like to know what additional measures are going to be taken to filter spammers *before* they get to post this crap.

I agree with Cathy. The valid e-mail address and confirmation reply are better options than even a modest fee, if only not to deter genuine PBers who feel unsafe giving credit card details on the web. After all, this is what's done on other community sites. Adding a requirement to post at least one image before being allowed to make comments would also prevent jaw-softening irritation...

I would also like the removal of talkabout6003. I received all the same junk as others have...as seen below.

I received spam from someone called qinqin today in my comments. It reads as follows -

At first I thought I was the only lucky person here that received spam, but well, seems like everyone does... I'm disappointed now lol

I don't see anything bad in spamming as a comment on photoblog, I mean, It at least, makes no difference to me. I don't even bother to delete, and well, I pass thru the comments that I really want to see, and I don't look to the spam ones. it is simple, easy, doesn't bother anyone, and well, at least you can always have a thought if you want to marry a sweet african, or if you want to buy a nice jewelry or even if you want to increase the size of your genitals (gosh this one almost killed me when I received it... I was with low self-esteem , how could they think i've it little ? )

Feel free to extend the length of your credit line or... other stuff. There are all kinds of sites eager for your custom. PB should not be one of them. Remember that there has been racist and gross spam made which should never have been allowed here in the first place.

Dont know if its been mentioned, but possibly require "Captcha" to be filled in before being able to leave a comment.

Newly registered poster "surfer" is a spammer.

Time to ask the Michaels again why accounts with no posts can flood the forums. (But I also enjoyed the chutzpah of spamming the anti-spam thread...)

I was disappointed to see that the Antispam account got deleted, though I fully understand why. I could accept it if there was a real and obvious action from admin against the spammers, but it doesn't appear that there is.

Well it's been a week now with no comment and seemingly no action from the administrators. Perhaps they aren't bothered.
