I think it would be great if we could all take a picture that defines your city, village, town. Maybe you have the picture in one of your blogs already but repost it.
Lets say. Post your entry on the 25th July. And message here if you are joining in so we can all see.

I like this idea, but why the "post on july 25th"? Can we just link the post here? I used to walk and down NYC every weeken when I first study photography and I did shot some "unique" sights of the city. It's hard to chose just one, but here's the most recent project I done:

Hi guys, wow, Cincinnati is really amazing!!!These are beautiful pictures!!! I am trying to post pictures of my city but not being able to do so...got a problem with the image hosting site that I use. I'll try post it later on...by the way I would like to know if it can be due to the fact that I once uploaded a copyright picture on the image hosting site??Can this be a reason for not being able to upload now???

Well, the town I live in is of no great interest, but MY village (ie where my grand-grand-grand-father built his house which still belongs to my family) is in one of the most beautiful places on earth... (yeah, sure, I'm very impartial !)

To me, this image encapsulates a lot of the essence of my city - and some of that, the thousands of Japanese tourist that are streaming through every day to see Kronborg, the castle from Sheakespear's "Hamlet", never get a look at.
