Well, my grand plan was to get a 35mm film SLR (which I have - my Pentax K1000) and collect a few lenses (which I have)
Thinking... toying... thinking... about getting a dSLR now...
I have a Sony F717 which is brilliant - love it, but a dSLR has a few more features and would be nice (use the Pentax lenses, RAW mode, etc)
Could get a Nikon D40 and lens adapters... but kinda seems silly now I've collected some Pentax lenses... although looks like a very nice camera too
Anyway, I have read the reviews - looks good - and am generally familiar with its capabilities... but I would love to hear from people who actually use it.
Just wondering if anyone out there uses a Pentax K100 D?
If so, what are your thoughts? You like? Dislike? Pros? Cons?
Cheers,

I have the K100 and I'm pleased with it. The on board image stabilization is fantastic! The only gripe I have with the camera is the auto white balance in low light is pretty skewed toward the red end of the spectrum. Although, the onboard color adjustments are usually enough to remove the color cast. The manual white balanace and presets all work like champs.
My selling points on this camera were the backwards compatibility with all pentax k mount lenses, and the onboard IS. hope this helps, feel free to message me with any other questions.
