...it was egg but not necessary chicken egg - something happened inside like 'mutation' and the shell broke and chicken emerged. Never know may be it all started with some other bird, and that bird laid an egg....so on on on, until one day chicken evolved. So remember, never know what can come out of that chicken egg in the incubator )))

perhaps a perfect chicken hatched from something which wasn't quite an egg?
perhaps a perfect egg was laid by something not quite a chicken?
lol... {shrugs} ... live with it
[...is this ancient riddle more of a linguistic conundrum?... what do you really mean by chicken? what do you really mean by egg?]

Well, there can't be an answer without some mutation from some T-Rex egg, the mom expects a scaly little demon and POOF! A feathery dinasaur. See where the chickens get the backwards knees? Wow, I can't believe I just wrote that so seriously... Please don't believe me! =cP

...and the chicken came from an egg, to discover there was an idea floating around in space. After having the idea, the chicken forgot what it was about and started laying eggs...

it was most assuredly an animal, closley rel;ated to a chicken, an environmental solution, evolution, and then lastly, a philosoper, that brought about the question that never reallyu needed answering ,since logic reveals the egg could never have come first. Why waste time on this shit, just go slack jawed in awe at the wonder of it all and take as many photos as possible!
