I'd be intersted to see if anyone has any suggestions
to improve this picture.
I know that I should have used a polarising filter at the time, but it's too late for that now. Any suggestions for remedial work would be appreciated.

Mmm, ok, a quick try would look like this. Not ideal obviously, but I think it's a step into the right direction:

That's very good Rokas, I'm impressed. But how did you do it?
On my blog today I've posted a couple of ideas that other people have given me.
I think we're getting there, but I'd still welcome any other suggestions/feedback.

I like Rokas' solution because it will show up less when you add other adjustment layers or sharpen.
