I walk past these gravestones everyday in Lincons Inns hardly anyone notices that they are there. By placing the rose on one of them I wanted to create a powerful image contrasting the age and condition of the graves against the new fresh flower.

I love this photo - the rose gives a lovely contrast between the past and present. Beautiful.
