I go to comment on someone's blog and I click "post" the little spinny thing goes round and round and round and round and says loading, loading, loading, loading, loading. This goes on until I get really agitated and click the back button. Then, when it finally goes back and I re-click on the person's blog, my comment is there. What the heck is the deal? Is this happening with anyone else?
I do not have the patience for this tonight.

Yep, I'm having this issue as well... I had put it down to Chrome behaving strangely on my net book... but maybe it's not that after all

Even when I loaded my images tonight, the scaling bar stopped 3/4 of the way through but everything downloaded. Also I've had 3 comments but no email notification.

Not here (Paris). Using a very slow Internet connection on an old mac and comments are posted as fast as before. Must be an Amazon cloud thing.

Photoblog has had a problem for a couple of weeks. It started with slow e-mails and now it's comments and replies as well as loading photos.

I just loaded up a post and it took forever !! I comment on Dan`s blog earlier and that worked fine but I got a lot of double thanks in my inbox so something is fishy....I use Chrome . Dont know it it makes a different

I'm working on an email to Michael to explain the issue... some clear points on what exactly is happening would be helpful.
What browser are you using?
What operating system?
What platform? (pc, laptop, mac, ipad, whatever)
What specifically is the problem you have? (uploading, messages, commenting, replying)

I use mac and chrome/firefox
Works with firefox but takes forever
Its only when I try to comment
Chrome don't work at all

Not working for me again...spasmodic success.
@McMommy...laptop, Firefox.
One can make a comment, however it takes forever to load. If you leave the site, the post is there when you re-enter.

Website seems to freeze up when I click the "Post Comment" button. I'm not patient enough to wait to see what happens and found I have to close my browser and start over again to get back to square one. Then I check and find my comment DID post.
Messaging and replying okay, uploading okay.

Tip of the day: If you get polarized sunglasses they can double up as a cheap and cheerful polaroid filter in a pinch. Just sayin'

Anti-tip of the day (sorry, Mark): *don't* buy polarised sunglasses - you have to take them off if you want to look at your camera's LCD or your mobile... You can look just as cool with the unpolarised variety.
