I love Photoblog. It feels small and friendly. Although I don't believe this is the place for snapshots, it's very easy to use and easier to share your photos in a nice size, so I can understand why people use it for that. I doubt I'd ever personally post 30 pictures, I think it's great that a well done and free service would allow that. I also believe that young people and people that want to experiment should never need to worry about any 'crap' filter. Maybe break the blog into 2 categories (I'm fine with it the way it is) snaps and photography. Also, a venue for illustrations, etc. would be fantastic as well, if it didn't get muddled in with the photos. I know of quite a few people looking for a place like this for non-photo artwork. I'd go for a pro-account, too if you you do it. Great job all around.
