I hadn't realised that each time you log into your photoblog account, the first time you take a look at a day's blog you posted say, yesterday, or a week ago, the counter adds another view after you have left that page. This appears to happen only once each session, so if you go back to a page several times it doesn't add more views. This happens with each of your own blog pages that you enter.
Is this supposed to happen? Did everyone realise this?

it shouldn't increment if you view your own blog.
And yes its all based off sessions.

it does. If you go to edit entry you can see the number of current views. If you then cick on 'view this item' from the edit page, view the blog, click on Photoblog' to exit, and then click on edit entry once more, you will see that your views have incresed by 1. I have tested it for each day, and it does do exactly that. Once per session per date blog.
Ps. You don't even have to go to those lengths. just go one of your your blog pages, check the number at the bottom, exit and then check the number in Edit Entries, you will discover the number has risen by 1 in each blog you entered.

well there is a reason why it is doing this.. it is all based on cookies so closing the browser you are getting re-issued a new temp session cookie and your counter will increase
