This is a problem that's been going on for a while. It seems that my subscription notifications are erratic. I'll receive notifications when the member has posted a new entry, then suddenly they'll stop. If I delete the subscription and re-subscribe, it will start working again, but then it will eventually stop again.

There's one friend in particular with which this is happening more frequently. I've had to resubscribe to her blog about four times over the last several weeks, and it's stopped notifying me again.
