I have 2 questions: in the past, when adding a URL into a blog used to open a tiny wide window at teh top saying "enter title" and then as clicking next, it would open a new one saying "enter url address" or something like that.
Now, it only open one window and it's not possible to put a URL linked with a word only. Is it something which should be looked at or was it changed in purpose?

Also...How do the thumbnail profile work? I tried uploading a panoramic piture and it would only allow me to edit the thumbnail with 1 option (the big version but not the full picture size) and how do some people get their profile picture to grow really long? Since it seems to resize it to something standard which I dont understand?

Not that I want my profile picture to be reallyyyyyy long and tall so everyone can see it...
There is also inconsistancy in how the thumbnail looks, I have this one right now which shows as a tiny square of the corner of the picture but when I leave comments it shows up as the full picture? It doesn't matter really, I just wondered.

Since nobody's replying and I am the only one in here having nothign to do, I will post what I have discovered with the mystery links thing.
If I highlight a word or phrase and then click on the "link" button on the right, the one with the little chain symbol and enter my URL in the little pop-up window at the top, then what will show on my blog is the highlighted words (for example Wildblanket's website ) and they will link to the website address, and will be in a different colour to show it's a link.

But I haven't any new answers on the other question ... i may need to ask StoryTaylor who must have one of the longest Photoblog thumbnails.
