Do you apply specific pixel image size? Perhaps 1024 x 768. Photoblog resizes to adjust to page, but when user clicks on your photo, it enlarges to size you specified.
Hope this helps.

that image software that comes default with the Mac has some sort of meta files that you can rotate the image with the software but it never touches the image.
If you open the image in say firefox it will be the same. You will have to find a way if you can save it to the image or use other software

I don't know if this will help but in the chance it will ...here goes. I'm a mac user too. But I save all my pics first on iphoto. You should have this program on your computer. Its very good. You should have a go with it.
In preview, If you are turning a picture on its side, it will be the wrong way around on the blog surely. Unless you mean your pictures are incorrectly oriented from the camera and by using "horizontal" and "vertical", you are setting them right. Diid you remember to save them?
Anyway, if you orientate your pictures the way you want them in iphoto, then export them to your computer - save in "pictures", then when you upload from photoblog, you pictures should be there and as you choose them, come out the right way up.
