hey everybody! well i started blogging a little bit ago and then had to put it on the back burner because of school and such, but now i'm back at it. now that i am back i have a few questions because i'm still pretty new to all this and would love suggestions and a little guidance.

questions (in no particular order):
1how do i get friends?
2how do i find, browse, and look at other bloggers?
3does anyone give out photography advice so that i can further my photographic capabilities? (constructive criticism and tips on camera techniques are very welcome!)

Best Regards,
-Eddweiner

p.s. if you wish to give me tips on camera techniques contact me and i can tell you what i'm using (if that helps).

1. When you're viewing a photoblog, you can click the menu on the upper left hand corner next to their name and find the link to add them as a friend.
2. You can visit the browse link at the top right hand corner of the page.
3. There are different ways to do this. You can add other people as friends and comment on their photos. In turn they will comment on yours.

We started a blog to help you improve your photography: http://www.petapixel.com

Hope this helps.

Welcome back!
I'm not one of the administrators so I hope my reply isn't out of place.

If you want more constructive feedback than "awesome post", you can add a request in your posts. A lot of people include a remark along the lines of "positive criticism welcomed".

If you have a specific question, look in the forum / digital photography section or better, write a question in the forum.

There's also a 'critique' section in forum where you can ask members to comment on a specific image or set, and finally there's the introduction section, again in the forum.

I love the social interaction at Photoblog, but you have to go out and make friends by investing time and thought in other people's posts so that they return the favour. For example, if you think a particular image is good, why not ask the poster how s/he took it? I'm sure we're all more than willing to show off our technical skills!

Hope this helps.
