For the past eleven years my son and his family work so hard to decorate their house for a house decoration contest, which helps make the neighborhood look festive, helping people get in the mood to celebrate a very special time. And - for the past eleven years he has lost with not even a honorable mention to rewarding all their effort. You see the same small group wins every year because this years winner selects next years winner, keeping the honor in a very small group.
This year has been a very hard year on our son, his first born went away to college, his Father-in-law passed away, and just the stress of having to provide for a family of four great kids, so the family decided to give him his own special award. The only sign missing is the one that says to the neighborhood to "Kiss Our Ass".
