The only thing free now in Branson Landing is the water show with music, colored lights, fire, and dancing water. A Nativity scene is lighted high on a ridge across the lake.

Before it became a tourist attraction Branson, Mo., in the Ozark Mountains, was just a sleepy little town on Table Rock Lake and Lake Taneycomo, the lakes being divided by Table Rock Dam. That has all changed. It all started with Silver Dollar City which is a large amusement park. Next came theaters with shows featuring stars like Mel Tillis, Mickey Gilley, and Andy Williams, Branson was becoming a country music center. Now we have Branson Landing which has shops selling designer clothes, and a fire belching fountain like you would see in Vegas. The things that stayed the same are the mountains, the beautiful lakes, and the old bridge that takes you across Lake Taneycomo from Branson, Mo. to Hollister, Mo., but that will change because a new bridge is planned.
