Some dry leaves still cling to the branches of trees around here. But all around is the blush of fruit blossoms and the warm yellow-green aura of new growth in the canopies. It is a world of delicate pastels, beautiful and promising, but today I long for the heat and the richer, bolder palette of full-blown summer.
