Cambridge, Maryland is an historic town of about 10,000 inhabitants in Dorchester County, located on the southern bank of the Choptank River. The legendary sharpshooter Annie Oakley called it home, and despite its quiet exterior, it has a long history of violence and struggle. You can take a "Ghost Tour" there and hear spooky accounts of suicides, hangings, and murders.
The light was low the evening I took these photographs.
