This Green Heron was a patient hunter, standing absolutely still for long minutes before grabbing a bug out of the sky or some amphibious creature out of the pond.

I like things that fly! A great collection indeed. Green Herons are fun. Is #25 a new take on Caturday?

These are wonderful. I adore butterflies - you have captured the colours and the patterns perfectly. The dragonflies are great too - I would love to be able to get a shot of one, but they're too fast!

Such amazing shots! I love the delicate dragonfly wings, and the gorgeous butterflies. I have yet to capture decent shots of either. And your bird photos - wonderful! Such patience you have, and it definitely paid off.

Such a diversity of butterflies in your neighbourhood, I appreciate action shots with Spicebush Swallowtails. Amazing Green Heron – I like especially #22. Punk's not dead! ;)
