Today's Back-Porch Visitors

At one point I looked out my window to see FOUR of these handsome guys within 2 meters of each other. Too overwhelmed by their color against the stark winter landscape, I couldn't leave to get the camera and only later grabbed a shot of this fellow with his mouth full of seeds.

Three tufted titmice were darting back and forth between the platform feeder and these lilac branches to hammer away at the sunflower seeds they had selected. Sometimes they peered up at me long enough for me to snap their photo.

I could have sworn that was a black Porsche!

Love these! The cardinals have started swarming our feeders again. I love their brilliant color against the dullness of winter.
