Starting by the lighthouse at the point, I got a good look at the Purple Martins in their apartments. This is a female who lives at #34.

This handsome cardinal perched above a loud Carolina Wren and added his song to the "Look at Me" refrain in full effect.

In the bright sunlight I almost mistook this for a robin, but its song made me do a double take and I recognize him as a Baltimore Oriole.
