There was a beautiful full moon and a clear sky this evening so I decided to have a go at taking some shots of it. It's the first time I've tried shooting the moon and I was feeling my way a little with the exposure. After a bit of experimentation this photo was taken with my 70-200mm lens with a 1.4x extender and a fair bit of cropping after the event. I could really have done with a longer lens but this was the longest I could muster. I don't think it's too bad for a first attempt but perhaps I could do better with practice.
