Ghostly tree

2008.04.25

I’m at Dillington House in Somerset this weekend for another recorder course and have discovered there is a broadband signal so I can still post on my blog – excellent news! Dillington is a beautiful listed building but my hopes to grab a picturesque shot of the house were dashed when I saw the scaffolding outside. Instead this evening I took a photo of the most amazing knarled tree in the garden – it looked quite ghostly with the nearby floodlighting. I had to use a high ISO to hand hold it so there’s quite a lot of noise but I’m quite pleased with the detail I’ve managed to capture in the bark.
