I decided I’d taken enough photos of flowers for a while so I thought I’d try my hand with this candle this evening. I set it up on a table near the door to our garden so I could use the greenery in the garden as a background. To get the right exposure balance between the flame and the candle I ended up using manual mode which took a bit of experimenting to get it right. I liked this particular shot because of the glow of the flame through the wax.
