I conducted my first concert with the Thames Valley Recorder Orchestra yesterday and at the end of the performance they presented me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. While they’re fresh I thought I’d take some photos of the gerberas in the bouquet. I decided to concentrate on the centre of the flower allowing lots of detail in the stamen and all the little blobs of pollen.
