It’s been yet another miserable day here with lashing rain so my hopes for getting out and about to shoot today’s photo were dashed. Instead I thought I’d turn a common phrase about the weather into a photo by using a small rubber duck given to me by a friend and some water! I tried putting the duck in a real puddle outside but the rain wasn’t heavy enough at that moment to create decent splashes of water so I created my own puddle indoors instead.

I also tried to take a picture of the rain splashing in puddles this week but couldn't get the drops in focus. I love the eyelashes on the duck (must be a girl!) busybee36 · 2008-07-12: 13:35
