A forest of contrabass recorders

It was my turn to conduct the evening massed playing session at summer school today. I was second to conduct so while my friend Marion was conducting I took some more photos. We had a huge number of great and contrabass recorders playing so I thought today’s shot should be one of the large instruments and their players who were lining the back of the hall. With this amount of wood involved I think the plural noun for contrabasses should definitely be a forest!
