Garden macro photography

I was wandering in our garden this afternoon and noticed some cape gooseberries growing in one of the flowerbeds. I found some in the garden in February (see my entry for 21st February: http://www.photoblog.com/girafferacing/2008/02/21/ ) which had rotted away to just a skeleton. Today there were a couple on the plant which still had their orange outer coating intact, however, this one had been resting on the ground and was beginning to rot so I thought it would make a nice companion shot to my earlier ones.

busybee36 I love the completely rotted plant that you posted earlier in the year and have added it to me favourites! This one looks like a lantern with an orange light inside.
