Ghostly visions

Yesterday I downloaded a piece of free software to create HDR (high dynamic range) images from multiple exposures. I tried it out briefly at home last night but thought I’d go to Chichester Cathedral again today to take some shots that I could try combining. I took quite a few shots, some of which worked better than others after processing. The first of today’s photos is a combination of three shots, taken facing down the south aisle of the cathedral. I had trouble finding a moment to take this shot when there were no people in view so there were people walking through two of the shots. Having combined them just one man remains, appearing as a ghostly figure at the far end of the building. The second shot is of the window about the west door. I took another shot similar to this by accidentally pressing the shutter button while turning the zoom ring and quite liked the effect so I persevered with a few more until I got exactly the effect I was after.

busybee36 I'm afraid I'm a bit of a processing novice so HDR goes over my head. However, I love the effect of the second shot.
