I’ve been lacking time, inspiration and decent weather for my photography today so it’s been a challenge to find a good subject my daily photo. In the end I decided to do another search for unusual subjects in the kitchen and came up with the plunger from our cafetiere! I liked the shapes and textures in the metal and used my macro lens to get close up. I lit it with a torch to create some definition and played around with the colour a little in Lightroom until I found the photo I was after. Would you have known what it was if I hadn’t said, I wonder!
