This is a quick shot taken in my music room just before going to bed – just in time for inclusion as today’s post. Today is St. Cecilia’s day and as she is the patron saint of music it seemed appropriate to use this piece of music, the overture to Handel’s Ode to St. Cecilia, in my shot, especially as I worked on it with a recorder ensemble in Winchester this afternoon.
