I reached this evening without having taken any photos so I decided I’d have a go at using my ring as a subject for today’s post. My Mum and Dad gave me this ring for my eighteenth birthday and I realise from this photo that it’s showing a few signs of wear and tear when viewed at such close quarters. There’s nowhere to hide the flaws from a macro lens! I used a small torch to bring out the sparkle in the stones.
