Virtually all the shops seem to have opened on Boxing Day this year, something I don’t remember happening to quite the same extent before. I’ve never felt the need to shop on Boxing Day but today I made one exception. The shop Lush sell wonderful bath goodies (a bit like the Body Shop before they became a large corporate chain if you’ve not come across them before), some of which I use. After Christmas they do an unusual sort of sale where they give you free goodies if you spend a certain amount. With this in mind I’ve been delaying stocking up on the things I use as I’ve run out of them. I went into Chichester this morning and stocked up on big bottles of the stuff I use and came away with two big Christmas gift boxes (shown in my photo here) worth just over £80 – both completely free!! Now that’s what I call a bargain. My large stash of Lush goodies will last me through most of 2009 and there’s the added bonus that I can smell fragrant and be well moisturised for free. Now that’s the sort of sale shopping I like best….
