When I was down at East Wittering on Thursday I noticed this rather lovely sea shell on the beach and picked it up as a photographic subject for a day when I was stuck for opportunities to shoot outside. Today has been entirely taken up with our local Music Festival so I decided to use the shell for today’s posting. I tried a number of compositions but this one worked quite nicely in a square format and I converted it to black and white to emphasise the patterns. I’m not sure I have got all I can out of this shell yet so I may well return to it from a different angle when I have more time.
