Springing back to life

Last spring we bought some primulas for our front garden and never quite got round to taking them out when they stopped flowering at the end of the season. I always thought they were annuals which had to be replaced each year so I’ve been pleasantly surprised to find them springing back to life this year, in spite of all the cold weather we’ve had. We’ve got some creamy ones in the garden too but these cerise coloured ones worked best photographically in the late afternoon sunshine with some of the petals lit fro behind.

????? Nice picture.
I agree with you about annuals... but I think if frosts don't kill 'em, they blossom next year.
Your lucky, dear!

Sharon They're pretty. We've got lots in our front garden. They spread quite a lot - you can split them up and spread them around a bit. Can't remember when I did it last time - probably after they stop flowering.
