Following Jenson Button’s fantastic win at the Australian Grand Prix this morning I just had to do a photo to celebrate. I rediscovered this little Lego racer while I was spring cleaning my study yesterday and it struck me as being the ideal subject for my photo. I decided my little racing driver just had to have a Union Jack flag to wave so I set about making one for him. I think the last time I drew a Union Jack was when the Queen visited Chichester in 1977 and we all stood outside our school waving our home made flags. I’m not sure my effort today is coloured in any more neatly than the one I made aged six but I had fun making it! Let’s hope Jenson gives me lots more opportunities to take silly photos like this over the coming F1 season…
