Low tide textures

I was out in the car this evening so I decided to take a detour to Dell Quay with my camera and see if I could find a shot for today. The light was fading fairly quickly but I found some wonderful textures among the boats and other quayside clutter, including these sections of paintwork on two of the boats. The boats at Dell Quay tend to be much more down to earth in nature compared to Chichester Marina which I visited last week. They’re generally smaller and humbler in nature, and often in need of a bit of TLC, although I find this makes them much more photogenic for abstract shots like these.

busybee36 Peeling paint certainly gives great textures, especailly where you can see the different colours underneath.
