The window box outside our kitchen window has looked pretty scruffy ever since we moved into the house nearly two years ago. However, this spring we decided to take it in hand and fill it with some new plants. It now contains a colourful mix of petunias and marigolds so when I found out that this week’s Wednesday theme was orange I immediately knew what my photo would be. I decided to go for a close up approach, focussing on the varied shades of orange round the edges of the petals of one of the marigolds.
