Kevin and I spent today at the Goodwood Festival of Speed indulging our passion for anything with an engine and four wheels. As usual I took loads of photos, of cars, design details on cars and people. I seemed to do particularly well when it came to capturing portraits of well known personalities this year – we always seemed to be in the right place at the right time. I’ve posted my favourite shots from the day – probably my biggest ever posting on Photoblog. After we’d walked around all the paddocks and I’d taken some action shots on the hill climb we took a stroll around the trade stands. As we did so the Red Arrows started their display over the site so I grabbed my camera and long lens and took some shots, two of which I’ve included ere. I’m still very much a novice at aerial photography but I struck lucky today and managed quite a few interestingly framed (and in focus!) shots.
