Herringbone

I was feeling a little short on photographic inspiration today so I went out for a short drive this afternoon to see what I could find. In the end I found a lovely thatched cottage in the village of West Ashling which had this wonderful herringbone pattern brickwork. Rather than taking a shot of the whole cottage I decided to focus on the patterns and colours in the brickwork and oak beams.
