Intersecting lines

I was really stuck for today’s photo as the day has been completely taken up with conducting groups of recorder players and then rehearsing for the concert this evening. However, after our rehearsal finished this afternoon I was sitting in the theatre foyer phoning home when I looked up at the wooden beams in the roof. I liked the way they intersected and wondered whether they might make a good abstract photo. This is the result. I thought it worked best as a monochrome image to focus the eye on the lines in the wooden beams.
