This lady and the chap below sit either side of the front door of one of Chichester's many disused churches. Until recently this particular one was used as a religious bookshop.

I like the texture and colour of the brickwork on this side wall of the West Cornwall Pasty Shop - they could do with repainting their window frame though!

Great memories..my son was a chorister in Chichester until 2003...when he was 13 - he just got into University so it felt a bit like a celebratory post for me

Nice set. I find it sad that the churches are falling out of use. Not that I am a religious body, far from it. But they are such a part of our heritage and have contributed so much to our common values, such as they are. I live in the land of Oz where a building is considered old if it was built in the 19th century, so the impact is not so great here.
