Shopping seagulls

My Mum and I went to Southampton today for a spot of retail therapy. As you take the escalator up to the top floor of the city’s John Lewis store there is a wall above you which is adorned with a large number of wire seagulls. I took a few photos of these birds today and decided that I liked this one, featuring just two of them, best. From a distance it looks remarkably like a line drawing but if you look closely at the lower of the two birds you can see shadows created by the wires against the wall.
