Today’s photo was inspired by a Photoblog posting by my friend Jools last week. Like Jools, we’ve got a hazelnut tree in our garden – something we only realised this year, after two years of living here. It’s been very productive this summer and we’ve been collecting the nuts as they fall on the lawn. While we don’t have quite as large a crop as Jools we’ve gathered a good bowlful and I thought they’d make a good image for Photoblog. I decided to go down the macro route and shot this on my music room windowsill.
